Maison de l'Artisanat

Au cœur de la vallée de la Molignée, à proximité de l’Abbaye de Maredsous, le village de Maredret, vous attend pour une visite pleine de charme. Vous serez séduits par un village réputé pour la beauté de ses paysages et ses richesses naturelles dominé par une abbaye néo-gothique. Le petit patrimoine (chapelle, calvaire..) saura vous émerveiller au détour d’un chemin. Mais le village de Maredret s’est surtout développé autour de ses artisans. Venez les découvrir lors d’une visite à Maredret. Une vitrine de leurs productions artistiques est visible en permanence à la Maison de l’Artisanat. A deux pas, découvrez le Musée du Bois et de la Vie Rurale, unique en Belgique. Depuis son inauguration le 11 août 2006, la Maison de l’Artisanat accueille les visiteurs de passage à Maredret et leur propose de découvrir et d’apprécier le savoir-faire et la passion des artisans locaux via l’exposition de certaines de leurs créations.

La Maison de l’Artisanat joue un rôle de vitrine des artisans du terroir, sous la forme d’une exposition permanente, avec néanmoins de fréquents changements, aussi bien dans les pièces présentées que dans la manière de les exposer, notamment à l’occasion des différents événements ponctuels.
L’organisme accueille également différentes expositions thématiques ouvertes aux artisans et artistes d’autres régions.

Fermé les lundis et mardis ainsi que les mois d'hiver à partir du 5/11.

La Maison sera ouverte :

Durant les week-ends des mois de novembre et décembre.

19 et 20/11 pour les portes ouvertes lors du Week-end chez l'Artisan d'Art.

25/12 pour le marché de Noël.

Réouverture aux horaires normaux le 01/03/2013.
