EddydeMons peintre belge d’origine polonaise né à Ninove (Flandre) en 1957. Il travaille et vit à Mons (Belgique) et à Port Barcares (France).Il a participé à de nombreux salons nationaux et internationaux. Il expose en galeries en Belgique, mais aussi à l'étranger, notamment, en France et au Brésil. Il se sert de sa formation scientifique universitaire pour approcher toutes les techniques picturales et développer un esprit créatif vif et contemporain. D’une nature très solitaire, il entreprend seul des recherches sur les matières et fait des recherches picturales en autodidacte. En construction et en recherche constantes, sa technique s'appuie et se joue de différents supports tels que la toile ou le bambou. Son chevalet est sa table d'écriture et sert de tremplin pour son ressenti. La matière trouve vie par son pinceau. EddydeMons développe une esthétique nouvelle nourrie des Arts Abstraits, des Arts Singuliers et du courant Matiériste « Abstrait – Singulier Art Matiériste ».L'inspiration du trait semble guider une oeuvre souvent abstraite et elle trouve son plein épanouissement dans son profond intérieur. EddydeMons nous transporte instantanément dans son imaginaire. Son œuvre est instinctive n’a de cesse de nous interpeller. Ses gestes sur la toile ont converti ses mots. Son parcours dans la vie, les aléas de l’existence, la musique ont nourri et contrasté son univers pictural. Son inspiration, il la prend à pied... depuis plus de 30 ans, promeneur urbain, « recycleur » et flâneur lunaire. EddydeMons peint comme de l'écriture automatique, une «chose » qui sort de son profond intérieur, c'est pour lui, un affrontement quotidien. Ses impulsions internes sont les guides de ses créations. C'est plus de la médication que de l'art. Il est le messager de son ressenti. Il trouve ses idées dans ses randonnées urbaines. Il crée et il rêve, il rêve en créant, créé en rêvant. EddydeMons vous fait goûter de l’art et il est impérieux de savoir voir, au-delà de son œuvre. Son travail est un laboratoire de figures et d’apprentissage en regard avec le monde. Ses tableaux sont produits avec une nouvelle grammaire artistique. Son art s’inspire de la communauté dont il est issu.
Il étudie les peintres russes et notamment les peintres Kazimir Malevith et Vassily Kandinsky. Admirateur de KAZIMIR MALEVITCH. « L’homme doit arracher le monde des mains de la nature, afin d’en construire un nouveau dont il soit le maître. »
VASSILY KANDINSKY écrivait en 1911 : « Toute œuvre d’art est l’enfant de son temps, et bien souvent, la mère de nos sentiments. » Elle trouve ses racines dans l’ambiance de son auteur, elle est le reflet de la société.

J'ai connu, à l'Ecole Normale Provinciale de Morlanwelz, 1971-1974, un jeune homme qui s'appelait Eddy Buluk. Comparativement aux groupes sciences humaines et scientifiques B, parfois mal dégrossis, il était très stylé ! Il avait un côté Oscar Wilde version années 1970. S'agit-il d'un homonyme ou EddydeMons, c'est Lui ?
